Position Summary:

As a Senior Strategic Account Manager, you will play a key role in managing and expanding high-value customer accounts, driving revenue growth, and delivering exceptional logistics solutions. This is a strategic, relationship-driven role that requires deep industry knowledge, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to provide consultative supply chain solutions to clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop long-term relationships with high-value customers, ensuring their freight and supply chain needs are met.

  • Identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize account profitability.

  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing customized logistics solutions based on client needs.

  • Secure and manage contractual agreements with clients and carriers to optimize costs and service levels.

  • Oversee shipment execution, supply chain efficiency, and risk mitigation for assigned accounts.

  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver seamless logistics services.

Job requirements

Education/Experience:

  • BS Degree in Business, Logistics or related work experience required.

  • Understanding and knowledge of the Transportation and Logistics industry

  • Understanding and knowledge of DOT regulations and standards

  • 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation and/or distribution preferred.

  • 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
