KCH Transportation is seeking a motivated Operations Intern in Augusta, GA to join our high-performing team and gain hands-on experience in carrier procurement, transportation coordination, and real-time logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing and onboarding new carrier partners to expand our network.

• Support carrier relationship management by maintaining accurate records and communication.

• Help track shipments, monitor performance metrics, and ensure on-time delivery.

• Collaborate with the operations team to optimize carrier capacity and service levels.

• Analyze carrier data and provide insights to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Assist in resolving carrier-related issues, including tracking delays and compliance concerns.

• Learn and utilize transportation management systems (TMS) for carrier coordination.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (Preferred) 

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Interest in freight brokerage, logistics, or supply chain operations is a plus.
