Location: This position will be in office in either our Chattanooga, TN or Nashville, TN branch.

Position Summary:
The LTL Operations Specialist is responsible for delivering operationally excellent transportation services within our less-than-truckload (LTL) division. This role manages the day-to-day execution of LTL shipments, serving as the key link between carriers, internal stakeholders, and customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, solutions-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary liaison between LTL carriers and internal stakeholders by booking shipments, securing capacity and pricing, and managing post-delivery adjustments.
Act as the main point of contact for carriers and customers to ensure seamless execution and resolution of operational needs.
Track and trace LTL shipments to provide timely updates and proactive issue management.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry within the Transportation Management System (TMS).
Identify opportunities for efficiency, cost savings, and process improvements; assist with implementation of changes.
Interpret, train, and enforce company policies and procedures consistently.
Perform additional duties, as qualified, to support team and departmental success.

Job requirements
Education/Experience:
HS Diploma/GED. Associate degree preferred.
1 year of previous transportation/distribution experience preferred
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
